How do I know which material I need?
Pick a project and we list what it takes, or pick a category and we list the materials in it with a short description of what each one is for. Every material also has its own page. If you’re still unsure, get in touch and we’ll tell you what we’d use.
How do I calculate how much I need?
Enter the size of the area and we work out the cubic yards, including a settling allowance where the material needs one. If you already know the amount, type it in instead.
What can my truck or trailer safely carry?
It depends on the vehicle and on the material — a yard of wet soil weighs far more than a yard of mulch. Tell us what you drive and we’ll show you what fits and what it weighs, before you book anything.
Can I pick up one yard over two trips?
Yes. Pay for the yard and take it in more than one trip when your vehicle needs a smaller load — your loading ticket tracks what is still owed to you, so nothing is lost between visits.
Can I order less than one yard?
Yes. Quarter, half and three-quarter yard loads are priced for loading at the yard. You’ll see what’s available for the material you pick. If you’d rather bring your own container, self-serve is priced by what it holds.
Where can a delivery be placed?
You choose the drop point and add delivery instructions when you order, and they stay attached to the load. Our trucks are small enough to place material close to the project rather than at the end of the driveway.
How does the dump-location pin work?
When you order a delivery you drop a pin on the spot you want the load. The driver sees that pin, and places the load there if the truck can safely reach it — not simply wherever is easiest to unload.
What if I live outside the regular delivery area?
Enter your address and we price the drive to it. We deliver well outside town; past the core area the delivery portion goes up with the distance, and you see it before you order.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Tell us. We’ll take responsibility and fix what is ours to fix. If we miss your confirmed delivery window on a Get It Delivered order, we refund $50.
